Current Series of Work

A Seagull Trio from the Beside The Sea collection.

The Herring Gull has become my trademark item. I hear their calls as I work in my studio, sometimes haunting, often bickering, always good company. When the weather permits me to work outdoors I see them soaring overhead and clamoring on the rooftops. Whatever they are up to, they cannot be ignored!

A Quartet of colourful Sheep from the Pastoral Fantasies collection. 

Farming is in my blood and I am surrounded by sheep and cattle here in the Welsh countryside, so it was inevitable that livestock would make an appearance in my ceramics. As well as these fancy fleeced ewes there are colourful cows, pastel pigs and rainbow rabbits.

The Flatback Collection

One of a series of Flatback pieces based on the old Staffordshire forms. Press moulded and hand painted in a Willow Pattern design, this one is based on the Tarot card 'The Sun', depicting a young child on horseback in a sunblessed garden.
